About the Author

The Lake is Irish playwright and novelist Sheena Lambert's second novel. Born in Dublin of Galwegian parents, Sheena worked as an engineer before embarking on her writing career, and has many articles published by the Irish Times and Irish Independent newspapers.

Her play FOCUS was premiered in Dublin's Trinity Players' Theatre in 2015.

The Lake, a finalist in the Dundee International Writing Prize 2014, was first published in the UK by HarperCollins.
