Author

Carla Blake was born in South Africa but has lived and worked in Ireland for many years. She is a well-known food writer and journalist, with a regular column for The Irish Examiner. She is an advocate of fresh, locally produced food, and believes that preparing and enjoying food with others is one of the most fulfilling aspects of life. A founder of the Irish Food Writers Guild, Carla has been writing about food since 1974.
